ALLANWATER BREWHOUSE NOMINATED FOR A THISTLE AWARDS 2022

The Allanwater Brewhouse in Bridge of Allan has been nominated in the 2022 Scottish Thistle Regional Awardsfor the best pub category for central south-east Scotland. The award ceremony will be held at Prestonfield House on the 27thOctober 2022.

Douglas Ross, owner and Proprietor of the Microbrewery and real ale pub in Bridge of Allan had this to say. “We, as a team, are delighted to be nominated for this award which reflects the hard work and effort we have put into establishing the Allanwater Brewhouse as a visitor attraction and destination for locals, visitors, and tourists from all over the world. We are proud to give visitors to the Allanwater Brewhouse a sample of our authentic food and drink tourism experience and offer true Scottish hospitality.”

The Scottish Thistle Awards, known as the TOURISM OSCARS, is an annual event organised by VisitScotland and based on 5 regional competitions with the gold medal winners progressing to the national finals. The Allanwater Brewhouse is a founder member of Forth Valley food and drink CIC. The Allanwater Brewhouse is also a founder member of Discover Bridge of Allan a community led tourism organisation.
